Cancelation Policies

While we have never had to cancel a retreat to date, MBODY reserves the right to cancel a scheduled retreat if necessary. In such a case, you may either transfer your full payment to another MBODY retreat or request a full refund. This refund constitutes a complete and final settlement.
Please note that MBODY is not liable for any expenses you may have incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as airfare, lost wages, or other travel-related costs.

 

Definitions

“Cancellation” refers to non-attendance at the retreat, including postponements or rescheduling.

 

Guest Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel or postpone your retreat booking, MBODY does not provide refunds under any circumstances. However, part of your payment (including any deposit) may be used as credit toward a future retreat and must be redeemed within two years of your originally scheduled date.
Credit may be transferred to another person if you arrange the transfer directly.

 

Depending on the timing of your cancellation, the following credit structure applies:

• More than 90 days before the retreat start date: 100% of your payment can be applied to another MBODY retreat.

• 60 to 89 days prior: 75% of your payment can be credited; 25% will be forfeited.

• 15 to 59 days prior: 40% of your payment can be credited; 60% will be forfeited.

• 14 days or less prior: You will forfeit the entire amount paid.

 

No exceptions will be made to this policy. We also do not offer credit for late arrivals or early departures.

 

Retreat Cancellations by MBODY

It is your responsibility to review and understand our cancellation policy before booking.

While no one books with the intention of canceling, unexpected events can arise. We therefore strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance as soon as you make your reservation.

Travel and Cancellation Insurance

 

To participate in our retreats, we highly recommend securing travel insurance. Most providers require that insurance be purchased within 7 days of booking. Ensure that your policy covers any activities you plan to engage in during your retreat and includes trip cancellation coverage, including protection related to COVID-19.
Depending on the policy, travel insurance may reimburse some or all cancellation fees. We specifically recommend World Nomads Travel Insurance, as it provides comprehensive coverage for retreat-related activities and pandemic-related travel disruptions.
